Note from the author:

*The full campaign is now complete. All six scenarios and the complete story are available for download.
“And it came to pass in the days of the war, the days of the unyielding conflict, that I was praying, crying bitterly all through the night. And behold, at the break of dawn, it seemed as though all the unbelievers had gathered in a group before my mind’s eye. And a man was hovering above them, surrounded by swirling clouds. The clouds grew dark and enveloped the unbelievers, and their bodies fell to a great basin and became a sea of bones.”
Many are the unimaginable terrors that tear at the fabric of our reality, relentlessly probing for a way to break through. The increasing occult activities around Arkham have not gone unnoticed, and with it the number of men who would be seduced to aid these terrors grow as well. What began with Dr. Henry Armitage’s undertaking in Dunwhich and the ensuing undertakings by his associates has turned the surrounding area into a beacon for the terrors from beyond to home in on.  In The Approaching Storm your duty to help Dr. Armitage turns into a deadly game of hide and seek, as one of his colleagues is murdered in front of your very eyes. The first scenario has you chasing down the culprit through the less than savory parts of Arkham while the second sends you on a trip up the Miskatonic River in an attempt to connect the murder to the occult research which undoubtedly led to the demise of Dr. Armitage’s colleague. It isn’t long before you find yourself assailed by voices in your head, promising godly rewards if you only abandon your quest.

Those of you who downloaded this as soon as it released (like in the first hour) are missing a page with two cards for the second scenario. Please redownload.

We use strange eons so we'll need your cards illustrations to make the translated cards. If you are OK please contact me at vinn.quest.15@gmail.com , thanks !

A pity authors nowadays don't spend time fixing typos. PDFs are hard to fix typos on. the idea is nice though.

Relax dude. These folks are doing this for free on their own time.

Firstly, thank you very much for this campaign. Enjoying it so far. Once completed, I will rate. I'm having a difficult time with the +4 on Act 4a. I know I'm likely overthinking or missing something but I can only total 6 Crew members in Victory display. Playing with 2 investigators, you would have 3 Crewmen, Capt. Whollerton, Mr. Wright, and Mr. Guilland for a total of 6 (need 7). Suggestions? Thanks again!

Dunwich not dunwhich

DUNWICH LEGACY REQUIRED! DOES NOT WORK WITH BASE ALONE. Spelling errors. "the number of men who would be seduced to aid these terrors grow as well" -> The number is singular, hence grow -> grows. Dunwhich => Dunwich savory -> savoury.

Campaign guide, p1, Required Products: ommitting -> omitting p2: You are making your way down Main Street as a young boy comes running towards you -> As you are making your way down Main Street, a young boy comes running towards you.

Your unsatisfied face quickly spur him on -> face is singular -> spurs.

(haven't read the rest for spoilers).

p4 passanger -> passenger. p16 achievments -> achievements. It would help to denote at each Setup where each of the sets came from: tNotZ / DL `(the others are in the last(!) page). Thank you anyway. I'll go hunt for enemy cards from DL and compile a list. I don't want anything beyond the base game unless it is a standalone hobby expansion.

For those with only base game, I provided DL encounter set here. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UAZwuoO7NgQvghHpUBV9MHyxoKjO4mAD

The set On the river has also spelling errors. It’s Wilhelm, not Willhelm. Act 1a: shed some light on things that are in the future does not make any sense. Act 1b spawn them at random locations: random how? Act 2a: there is no mystery at hand yet. What is going one -> on. Objective should be placed higher on card.

Act 4b: youtselfbut needs a space. Agenda 1b: over head -> overhead. Also 2b. Terrible-> terrifying

Kitchen: luxuary -> luxurious

Passenger Cabins 3rd: passanger -> passenger

(2x, also Riverboat outside also 2x) Dining Room 2nd: defenetly -> definitely

Baelzebub card font size should be increased

Passengers card: jurney-> journey.

In need of rescue text too small.

Darkness beckons card: what does direct mean in direct horror?

Swarm of Flies sub: will the buzzing -> this buzzing

Overall good quality but has some low hanging fruit...

Campaign Guide typo: p16 = Achievment -> Achievement. Fixing these makes the quality look more professional..

"each time the investigatot fails a skill test while attempting to evade an enemy with the alert keyword, after applying all results for that skill test, the enemy performs an attack against the evading investigator.... the attack occurs whether the enemy is engaged with the evading investigator or not"

But... you can't evade an enemy that you're not engaged with. That's usually the whole point of evasion. How does this make sense? Am I missing something?

then he needs no skill test, or am I missing your problem?

This is a nice clear, well written story line that progresses well from one scenario to the next. The end of each is almost always quite challenging, sometimes to the point of being overwhelming (i.e. I didn't make it through the last scenario and came very close to bad outcomes on several). There was a nice variety of challenges and some really creative thought. Thanks for all your work on this. Very enjoyable.

I can't find cards number 34 35 38 39 40 41 from Scenario 2. There is a card 44 which is labelled as 44/20---is it 44/44? Where do I find the missing ones?
