Hi, will a PDF (printable) version come at some point ? I heard a lot of good things about this campaign ! ;)

NO SPOILER Hi, we played this with my GF and had ended a bit skeptical. It was very nice work don't get me wrong but some of it felt not so great : 1- The "fan-made" feeling : Obviously it is fan-made, but sometimes you feel it more and some rules or ennemies have too few impact on the game (some rules on ennemies never occured at all in 3 scenarios), the difficulty that we found a bit too easy (we play on standard and skipped to difficult during the campaign and yet it was a bit easy for us (maybe it's just luck though for this point) 2- In the middle of two things : It didn't feel very Lovecraftian as we never felt the "scariness" feeling of the Arkham Horror (actually it's quite the opposite, the campaign let you feel like a true "american movie hero" and that's exactly what we actually didn't like I think). But yet we didn't feel like it was a full a war of the worlds thing (though it was much more AWOTW than AH and that's what we signed for obviously). 3- The ending : Too weird for us, felt out of nowhere and that's why I'm probably a bit salty, otherwise I would have had a neutral-good experience I think... BUT, on a good note :

• As I said, we still felt the original source of AWOTW (the book not the movie) !
• If you want a good story where you can be the true heroes of the world and the flavour text complimenting you for your achievements, then it's all good. We kinda enjoyed it at the end when we finally stop caring about the "horror" and went full "'merica !!!" :)

I hope I'm not too rough, I don't want to discourage anyone to play it, it was pretty good if you except some rules (but hey, it's free). Just be aware of the experience you're looking for and just have fun ! Consider playing in "Difficult" maybe for one time ;) And to the author(s), thank you for all this work, I hope I can be helpful and do not discourage you to create anything even better in the future ;)
